The Workshop is convened to provide an introduction to the basics of community development districts, which may include, but is not necessarily limited to: the creation of community development districts, statutory powers and responsibilities, the difference between community development districts and homeowners associations, bond financing and assessments, and roles of Supervisors and staff.
